So I finally went and got myself a (mild) sunburn, after two weeks of being so careful, since I am, after all, a whiter shade of pale. No news on the wall shenanigans front, but I was outside with the dogs this morning, and suddenly Shelby starts growling and barking at a large flowerpot. ( DEATH TO THE INTERLOPER )

Soooo, let's see. First the cat escaped and we cursed at each other and beat the bushes for an hour and a half; that was a couple of nights ago. My poor mother--she didn't even get home until 8 pm, and I think she and Sister Girl spent 5-6 hours faffing around in the ER. Well, shit. My sister just got into a car wreck--someone hit her from behind on the interstate, and she's telling me (she's still out there, on the phone with me) that it's "really, really bad."
